What a poor game, it was like watching two lower end table PL teams, I honestly think you could put the PL top eight into the CL and they all get out of their respective groups which is a sad indictment of European football at the moment.

Well except for Manchester United apparently.

Inter could be a dark horse in the CL this year imo. They’re not super flashy but extremely effective and efficient team

I don't think there's any shame in being shut out by Atletico either, they can make it difficult for the best forwards in the world under Simeone.
Agree although by his standards he was a little off his game first half. He’s really been one of the best strikers in Europe this season.

I've been watching the other game as I thought it might be a bit more entertaining, decent game, probably not the quality of Milan v Madrid but plenty of chances.

Did I hear right that he's got 23 goals so far this season? And 20 odd in the past few?
That's not to be sniffed at in the Italian league by any measure.

And Arnautovic should've scored from that.

Yup and some of those goals have been incredible. Not like simple tap in’s. He’s honestly one of the best strikers in Europe at the moment. Honestly an incredible player.

And yeah, Inter should be 2 or 3 up by now. Inter have been much more like themselves this half

I was gutted that Thuram went off, I don't watch that much footie from European teams so was looking forward to seeing him.

Oh jeez, they've got to bag one of these chances soon.

Yes many, he’s having a phenomenal season. Just not having a good game so far tonight.

He’s clearly a good player, but every time I’ve watched him he’s not had a good game. Maybe I’m the problem, I’m only a casual Serie A watcher at this point so most of the games I’ve seen him in have been CL and for Argentina
