My points score in this competition sadly doesn’t mirror my real life betting results .

Been a bit brutal since a good day on Tuesday.

Every year I say I’m going to steer clear of too many multiples….. and every year I never learn.

Not quite. My spreadsheets go back to 2016 (I know, very geeky). Today's total score was 320 points by 27 players (including the no shows) an average of 11.85 per player.

The worst I can see was Day 4 in 2018, 184 points by 24 players at an average of 7.6.

The common theme, short price favourites that all players napped that failed to win and in some cases place (Mighty Potter and Shishkin today).

Can't disagree with that approach. I post a lot of stuff on here to help keep my brain ticking over. Use it or lose it.
Some might say I have already lost it.
My other vice is cryptic crosswords of The Times kind. I only get one about once a month -- that's enough it takes me almost a week to do it.
