So, looking at the season so far it looks like we're particularly strong defensively, but also strong in some areas attacking-wise. We're pretty average in terms of possession and pass completion, but I'm not sure whether this is by design/nature of our game, due to us winning the ball far up the pitch and attacking swiftly and directly, or merely one of our failings. Anyway:

Defence

Only City have conceded fewer shots than us 9.6 to our 10.2 pg.
We're 7th on tackles pg, but only Liverpool and Arsenal of the big 7 have done better.
We're third on interceptions pg with only Fulham and southampton above us (19.5, 18.3, 18.1), of the big 7, only Arsenal come near with 15.9, Utd and City only manage 12.3.
And yet fouls-wise we concede the fewest in the league with both ourselves an Utd making a paltry 9.9pg.

Attack

Only Liverpool take more shots per game (19.2), with ourselves and City in equal second (18.1) with Utd the next of the big 7 (15.9)

We have the second highest number of shots on target pg (6.3), City are slightly better (6.4), Utd in third (6). This correlates strongly with actual goals scored. Utd (54), City (41), Spurs (39).

We have the second fewest offside pg (1.6).

In terms of goals types we're 4th in open-play, top in counter-attacking, but middle of the road on set-plays.

Passing/possession

We're middle of the table possession-wise, and only 7th on pass completion.

Finally, whoscored have some kind of algorithm which compares strengths and weaknesses against the PL standard, apparently we're:

Very strong at:
Creating long-shot opportunities
Creating chances using through-balls
Creating chances through individual skill
Counter attacks
Stealing the ball off the opposition

Strong at:
Creating goal scoring chances
Finishing scoring chances
Defending set-pieces

Weak at:
Aerial duels
Protecting the lead.

Summary

So that's it, I guess nothing earth-shattering, the only additional thing I think it's worth pointing out is that we had a troubled time at the beginning of the season, and I believe we've seen steady improvement the last month or so, these stats average over 21 games, I suspect if you took only the last 10 games or so as average therefore we'd be closer to the top on many of those indices. It's a big 'if', but if our improvement beds in and isn't merely a blip, then we could be in for an exciting ride!
