The 2nd highest points haul we've had in the Premiership and 4th of all time.

Yes, it could and should have been more, but well played lads (y)

Think we are averaging 1.7 ppg since Redknapp hasctken over and in 3 full seasons has got us 4th twice and fifth once. Still think he has done just about enough for one more season. Levy must keep Bale Modric and VDV at all costs for one more season. We only need 4 quality players and to keep our current players to be competitive

Krul
Vertonghen
Remy
Hazard
And Ade on loan again

Good effort but thought we would break the 75 mark back in January:(

Hopefully it will prove to be a successful season AFTER another weeks wait for another game where we can't do anything but hope.

What's most depressing is what I read on another site....

Our best team in 15 years still couldn't finish above arsenals worst team in 15 years.

I'm proud of what we have achieved but that is a terrible thought

Yeah it is a weird day, if we were all offered 4th at the start of the season we would've taken it, heck even today I was happy we got 4th the way Newcastle put the pressure on us in recent weeks but it is hard to celebrate it, knowing that we let Arsenal overtake us and we now need Bayern Munich to do us a favour.

Is this team 7 pts better than last season's? Who knows, that's what they've achieved anyway.

Arsenal's worst team in 15 years? They got more points than the squad last year with Fabregas and Nasri in the side

There is more to it than that. Arsenal got more points this season than last, Rvp was fit all season is just for starters.

Strange that we've done so well and still feel disappointed. Hopefully that will all change once we see Chelsea in tears again next week.

that performance against norwich away
was second only to the 5-1 mauling of chelsea in the league cup.
but apparently harrys a **** for almost getting sent to prison, and letting it take a toll on him, his state of mind, and his judgement.

before the season started i thought we'd finish 6th behind liverpool and chelsea.
people forget that we started the season with the pace of 'crouchie' and the strolling russian up front.

all things considered (all), harry and the players have done well.

When Ledley dipped we fell away sharply. Needs replacing.

We don't score enough goals too....weird.

Yea simple as that isn't it......

Krul just signed a new contract at Newcastle
Remy has been quoted at costing more than £18m
Hazard is wanted by Man City and Man Utd
I'm not sure we will loan Ade again

How much would your wish list there cost?
Krul £10m-£15m
Vertonghen £12m
Remy £18m
Hazard £25m

not to mention the wage bill

I just don't think its as simple as you seem to be suggesting, 4 players who cost that sort of money coming in? I'd like to see it but it seems doubtful to me

I'm pretty sure we'll see some sizable investment in the squad but I'd agree that doesn't look reasonable. Can't see us getting Krul and I think it'll be at best only one of Remy or Hazard.

I think Hazard is a no go, Remy a possibility but he would take up a sizable chunk of our budget.

A lot depends on who's sold and for how much I guess

Seems we'll certainly sign a centre back, I suspect the keeper might just be a youngster with Brad keeping his place another year.

We will have to bring in two stirkers, one could be Ade if not someone who offers what he does and the second striker could well be someone like Remy who can double as a wide player. I doubt we will sign two out and out strikers and I am wondering who will stay out of Defoe and Saha
