We pushed really hard for this and we got it. I reckon we could be the prime team to take advantage of this. The top teams have such big squads that I can see them being unwilling to drop a squad member in favour of a young prospect, whereas we will be trimming down some of the 'fat' and the two additional spots on the bench will be given to the youngsters.

If we dont I will be very disappointted. With the success of our youth team we need to let the youngsters have the opportunity to prove they can step up.

Who do you reckon will be favourites for the two extra spots? Right now I can see it being Pekhart and Rose as they offer something different (Target striker, and pacy left footed midfielder)

I know what you mean but it's a silly question because it will be totally circumstantial. Who are we playing? What's the injury situation? When did the reserves last play? Etc...

Rose has been on the bench once this season so I expect he will get a few more chances (unless he goes on loan). Same goes for TAH.

The most likely beneficiaries will be Gunter, KPB and Taarabt. And has it not already been said that Pekhart will be sent on loan next year...?

I would like to see more of Mills and Dervite. Mills came seemingly a long time ago and, at the time of signing, was apparently very close to Swindon's first team. Surprised we've heard very little of him. I know Dervite has been injured but by all accounts, he has a very promising future ahead.
