I honestly think if the guy scores against us in the EL that every fan would applaud, even if it was a 90th minute winner.

What a lovely man.
I think both sides come out well in this.
Compare and contrast Roberto Soldado and Emanuel Adebayor.

He was clearly as disappointed as we were. He needed this for his career and we did for our attacking options

From a personal and career perspective it's probably been the worst two years of his life.
I wish him all the best.

loved the shirt pity it didn't work out, wonder what Ade's leaving speech will be like!!
I would just like to thank Spurs for giving me a contract after my loan spell (even after people warned against it). I was really happy that my wages were not performance related as I would probably owe the club money Ha Ha my little joke. But joking aside I am enjoying earning £100k per week for doing f*ck all so I have decided not to leave & see out my contract and laughing all the way to the bank. Finally I would like to thank Mr Levy without whom non of this would have been possible.

What a man, he could've gone down the route of other footballers and blame us for all his failings on the pitch but he didn't. Classy until the end, wish him all the best and genuinely hope it works out for him.

A lot more class than some fans I have to say, hope he proves his ability back in La Liga.

I'm genuinely moved by Bobby's final message to us fans and I'm sure we all wish him well at his new club on his return home, and I'm also sure we'll all be watching him and (kind of) supporting the team he's playing for.

Fair play to the lad. Always a likable character, but just not suited to the EPL it seems.

Whats the odds he'll score a hat trick against us in the EL :)

A really nice bloke which is a rarity in football days. Shame it didn't work out for him here but like all the other Tottenham fans I wish him all the best for the future.

In the recent past why have so many players with big reputations proven international experiance have just bombed after arriving at the lane , soldado , paulinio , pav , redrov . Maybe its the lack of playing their football outside the premiership before we sign them .
