YAY!! Well done everyone who voted, and Lennon of course!

Aaron Lennon has won the PFA Fans' Player of the Month Award for March.

The winger, in flying form of late, has had a month to remember with two goals against Middlesbrough - the first time he'd scored twice in a game for us - before setting up Luka Modric's winner against Chelsea.

His performance against United full-back Patrice Evra in the Carling Cup Final on March 1 also caught the eye and his month was crowned by a recall to the senior England squad and his first caps for two years with starts against Slovakia and last night's World Cup qualifying win against Ukraine.

'Azza' fought off competition from Arsenal's Robin van Persie for the award with the likes of Liverpool pair Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard and Chelsea's Didier Drogba also in the running.

THE PFA FANS PLAYER AWARDS

The PFA Fans Player Awards are the only official awards of the Professional Footballers' Association that are voted for by the fans.

Every month of the football season, four fans randomly selected from the divisional winners will:

- Personally present The PFA Fans Award to their player
- Receive an official framed photo (signed by the player)
- Two hospitality tickets to the game

There will also be runner-up prizes consisting of 4 x limited edition PFA centenary books and 40 x PFA key rings.

Yep, well done to the little man. He's one of the few players in the league that generates a buzz of excitment everytime he gets the ball.

well done little man, well deserved.

hopefully he can build on this form and go on to the sort of career we all thought he'd have when he first broke into the team

This is the fans' award, Stevie G will take the official one. Proof that there are more Spurs fans than Liverpool fans tbf :)

Very pleased for Aaron. It does look like he'll develop into a top class player now. Mixes his game up well, and is putting some lethal balls into the box. Hopefully he can keep it up.

Gerrard was probably better but when you're as good as he is it becomes the norm. Hopefully Lennon can play as well as this for the rest of the season and into next and people won't comment on him playing well because they expect it.

Yeah, I also believe the ones that had access, voted for John Terry's mum. She's an absolute hero on Merseyside after her trip to Tesco's / M&S

Liverpool fans sing a nice song about John Terry's mum, and it's the reason she's no longer with Mr Terry.

She enjoyed Baden Baden in the 2006 world cup a little too much and liked the company of scouse men as young as her son.

Yeah but very few scousers have internet access to vote

That is such a one eyed lie, They all have internet access, its just a shame that they are too busy looking for the jewelry cabinet before the owners get home :)
