Sure it's already been said but, Lennon was the last of the 18 involved in the 1-0 away win against Milan :-(

Yes - and he was the one that created the goal. (Although, careful, that doesn't fit into the Lennon has always been shit and had no end product narrative).

I think Aaron Lennon is a terrific player. He may not have scored as many goals as we would have hoped but he still made me sit on the edge of my seat when he got the ball and started to run with it. He created (and scored) some amazing goals while he was with Spurs. And he worked hard - he was the ideal winger to have when we needed extra help in defence. I feel he could have achieved more if he had taken the ball into the box more often and invited players to take it away from him. He has fantastically quick feet and close control - he could have drawn quite a few penalties. We'll see what he does at Everton.

The hints on here from posters (ITK?) is that he left because of his lifestyle and/or Adegate. I wish him all the best at his new club.

I suspect that a key reason for his loan move to Everton may be on account of the way Pochettino sets up the team. His wingers are his full backs - and so what's the need of a forward player to bomb down the wing and send the ball into the box? The wing-backs will do that. Of course that brings into question Townsend's place in the team. But then again he's a left-footed player playing on the right side of the attack. His job is to move inside and shoot. And score. I hope Townsend stays with us. He's a battler!

Good luck to Aaron Lennon! Thanks for the memories...
