Possibly VDV, unlikely the others will. I reckon any player going to WC, or indeed involved in any competitive match after the 12th wouldn't be available. Assuming Real get to the CL final, Bale and MOdric wont be there.

Might be a few good players in their. I can't imagine Keane or Defoe will make it as the MLS season will be in full swing, while VDV and Modric will unlikely take any risks ahead of the World Cup. Paul Robinson is unlikely too I'd imagine. That's fine, it'll be more fun with retired players anyway if they shoose the right ones. Walker, Taricco, Naybet, King, Ziege, Ginola, Freund, Davids, Anderton, Ferdinand, Sheringham. I reckon that side would probably give a good show of themselves until they all collapsed about 15 minutes in.

Joking aside, so much potential for this, and I hope we see players from a variety of eras.

Sadly I can't see RM allowing Bale and Modric back before the CL final/end of la liga. Or VDV being allowed to leave Hamburg with his injury record. Doubt Carrick or Berbatov would be interested either.

Even though they are in MLS, I reckon Keane and/or Defoe would be up for coming back for Ledley.

Thoughts on potential players:-

GK - Friedel, Robinson, Walker

RB - Stephen Carr (retired now?), Stephen Kelly, Nethercott (plays for Legends regularly)
CB - Ledley King (C), Dawson (unless first team), Woodgate? (unlikely), Chris Perry, Naybet
LB - Assou Ekotto (Not as if he'll play for first team), Taricco, Edinburgh (played for Legends)

RM - Anderton (plays for Legends)
CM - Hoddle, Davids, Freund, Sherwood/Redknapp (ugh), Huddlestone?
LM - Ginola, Steeeeed

ST - Keane/Defoe, Teddy, Sir Les, Crouch, Clive Allen?

Really hope Ledley gets some cracking players in, he deserves it. Should be a great night.
