Oh Ade, Ade, Ade. We know life is hard but making your private one known to millions of people will not make it any better. I would suggest therapy and a new Ferrari. That will help.

£2.5m to get him out?!!! Peanuts in the great scheme of things, just pay him off, get rid and move on!!!

Nobody else will pay him the stupid money he's on with us, so from the starting point of being a greedy twat, it's a pretty good way of snagging yourself another few million for doing sod all.

Don't pay him out. Keep paying him but have him nowhere near the team or club (ala BAE). Why reward him by paying him out so he can sign elsewhere (probably West Ham) ?

This is news to me
"Tottenham paid £13m for Roberto Soldado, with another £13m due if certain targets were met"

Is that true? Surely he has not met any targets we would have set?

Loan him out somewhere and pay some of his wages would be better - especially abroad.

Don't think his facebook rants would make a jot of difference. He won't play, he's still available if clubs want him, his contract runs out at the end of next season.

So what if he's got family problems? it didn't stop other footballers. They can do almost anything and find a club if the money works out.

If anything, the money would be the problem. Not the Oprah tell-all sessions he's having online.

To be fair to Ade this is something he feels is necessary. Some people keep this stuff to themself and others need to share their problems. If he finds it cathartic then let him get on with it.

Eventually he will have dragged the family through the streets so badly that he will be able to comfortably cut them off. Which may be a good thing for him, at least it will allow him to focus on his football.

Unfortunately, us Africans all seem to have family members who are (to use an African expression) "always hungry".

With regard to his Spurs career, i think it was always a case that we were going to terminate his contract at the end of the season. Once this is done at least he can say "I'm done with this situation and ready to move on"

Variations of this piece if news have floated around for some time. I'm not surprised at all, really.

I think Ade will find him self a sweet new club this summer.
