With the Arse and Chelscum in turmoil, we must seize the chance to get into the top 4. I don't fear Liverpool that much and if Ronaldo leaves Manure, and we continue with a couple more important signings, anything can happen next year.

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]The agent of Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor is reportedly meeting with Gunners officials to demand the green light for a transfer to Milan.

During the Rossoneri’s long search for a big-name striking addition a number of possible targets have been identified, including Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o, Dimitar Berbatov and Mario Gomez.

However, it now seems that Diavolo Vice-President Adriano Galliani [pictured] has set his heart on Togolese marksman Adebayor.

While the world champions are reportedly ready to dig deep in their wallet to secure his services, a move will be difficult because Arsenal have declared that the 24-year-old isn’t for sale at any price.

But reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Adebayor is keen to move to San Siro and has urged his agent Stephane Courbis to demand that he is sold.

Adebayor is under contract until 2010, but his demands for an increase to his £2m-per-year salary have fallen on deaf ears.

There are whispers that Arsenal may opt to part with the former Monaco man for around £15m and use a percentage of that cash to lure Paraguayan international Roque Santa Cruz, who impressed at Blackburn last term.
