We all know he's returning and curious to see whether people think he will become good, fail from trying too hard or be his usual 'turn up when he can be arsed'.

He's had a pretty dire season so far, so maybe this is the opportunity he needs with Defoe now injured!

He's already making excuses, so I don't expect to see anything from him though a properly fired up Ade is just what we need.

I don't know. He was on decent form for Togo, at the moment though there is a massive over reaction to what he said about being tired. So media and some supporters are going to lay in to him if he doesn't perform.

yes - Ade will come good now.

This mightn't mean that he'll score tonnes of goals (ie score a high amount like 10-15 goals between now and the end of the season), but we need performances from the big man, and if he is bringing other people into the game, Lennon/Bale/Holtby, we will hopefully continue our good run of results and what is now hopefully a push for third place!

To be fair to him, he hasnt had a run in the team as a lone striker. Now defoe is injured I think he will get the form of last season. That doesnt necessarily mean he will start scoring but I think the team will play better than we have all season imo

You all think Bale is playing well now, you just wait until Ade gets back playing again.

I am getting a bit fed up with the negativity around Ade if i'm honest. Yes he may not have been scoring, but it feels like I am saying the same thing thread after thread. When he has been playing, our team, and fluidity and dynamic has been much better than with just Defoe. He brings far more to the table.

Now with the Hotlby addition, Bale will be brought into play more aswell, this could be devastating if it pans out the way I think it will. Defoes injury in my opinion is a blessing in disguise.

You all need to lay Ade a bit, a few words taken out of context in a shit rag paper?? Come on, you guys are better than that!!

I agree, nothing pisses me off more than the comment oh"once he's got a contract he doesnt really play anymore", which is the biggest load of bollocks, his form at le arse went shit after he got booed every match when he said he wanted to go AC and at City he went shit after he fell out with Mancini

After beimg injured at the start of the season Ade had to be shoe-horned into the team around an in form Defoe. Hope we'll see the best of him now as a lone striker.

He will come good, and for all those who are having a pop at him about feeling tired, how many of you have played in the heat that he has been doing, i would hazard a guess none of you have.

I agree with Matty.

Expect to see Ade playing hold up down the channels and Lennon and Bale both cutting inside more as a result. If he can get a good understanding going with Holtby it could be golden. It looks like Holtby knows how to shoot himself, so I'm very keen to see how our front four start working together. His return also means we have a genuine out ball, and an extra presence in both boxes at set plays.

I agree with Matty as well!

Ade will find his place in front of Bale, Holtby and Lennon play his best few month in his career. He will secure us 3rd place and show everybody that he will fight to be #1 striker in the club even though we will buy a new one in the summer.

Delusional? nahh, not even the slightest...

The only concern I have with Adebayor now is if he gets injured. Very excited to see how we go with Holtby/Bale interchanging behind Adebayor.

If anything I think the ACN will of been good for his fitness levels.

He said he's exhausted after losing the quarter-final.

What after running around giving his all for 90 minutes or as in he's genuinely blown out and needs to rest a few weeks. I get the feeling it might be taken out of context

Cheer the fuck out of him when he first steps back on the pitch! Also invite some Gooners to come sit in the away end for free and boo him, always gets him going. They get to abuse Adebayor, Adebayor gets motivated, we get to abuse a bunch of Gooners whilst blowing away the opposition. Works for everyone lol
