Would be great in the number 8 role replacing Dembele
Dier, Skipp, Rabiot, Winks, Sissoko, Wanyama
Doesn't seem so light in midfield and a nice balance
I would then replace Wanyama in the summer with Berge

Agree 100%
Rabiot in now, I’d bring Onomah back too.
Then bring in Berge in the summer to replace Wanyama.

I prefer to wait for official signing news. Playing the transfer news merry-go-round is emotionally too expensive for me. I'll believe it when i see it.

I think he's going to get sold in the summer :(We had the chance to recall him from loan as he has recovered from hamstring injury but Poch has decided not to :(

Man City still concern me in all of this. Fernandinho isn't getting any younger, and City were clearly in the market for a midfielder given their failure to snaffle de Jong.

Only thing we have in our favour is he's quoted quite a few times saying he doesn't want to play as a holding midfielder, so he wouldn't be a great fernandinho replacement.

City want nothing to do with him, he was at their academy and already had to deal with mummy dearest

mummy dearest will be the biggest hurdle, by sounds of previous mentions in the past, I can see her telling her little boy to stay put and take a decent sign-on figure in the summer

The positive ITK has come after the semi final loss.

Think we've been here before, but you never know. There's always hope.

The S*n are saying (via Hotspur Related) that we're determined to complete a deal for Rabiot, for £20m this month

Would give us a great balance, Dier DM, Winks DLP, Rabiot B2B.

Is Rabiot genuinely a box to box midfielder? Admittedly haven’t seen too much of him, but the little I have he seemed more Carrick like.

Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing, but I would personally like us to sign a CM who can contribute a few goals also, as we haven’t had one for so long.

Although at this stage I’d settle for anyone decent.
