For some reason it makes me think of Loftus Road...

It seems to blend with the surroundings quite well. I wonder if that's been taken into account in order for the stadium to receive planning permission??
One big concern that was bought up in the planning stages was the impact on sunlight to the surrounding area - the roof was an important part of this and has been designed to cause as little nuisance a shadow as possible, if my memory serves

Okay, adding the entertainment complex and hotel above is maybe a bit excessive for the London borough of Haringay (the above was a proposal in Berlin BTW).

But it would be different, unique, dare I use the Levy word "iconic", ground breaking, original.

I like those words. I don't hate the new stadium, but it hasn't taken my breath away as I hoped it would

I have a strong feeling the top tier shape near the roof is not shaped like a wave for style, but rather an acoustic solution or increased view for fans. Im not sure why, but the amount of stadiums with the same wave shape at the top sugests there is a firm reason for it. Same with the bowl shape. As the stated the bowl is the only option and wins hands down to your standard box shape. As long as it has corners on the inside and close to the pitch, it will be the same as the original white hart lane.

As for looking like the emirates, It has a similar shape to many stadium these days, What the images dont show is the detail the aluminium cladding will have. The texture and pattern formed from this cladding surely will make a world of difference and completely change the feeling of a second emirates stadium. I am suggesting the look of the actually stadium will look very different from the images provided, because the detailing isnt shown through the quality of the early images.

Im not sure how to put an image on here so I have just put a link to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.

No idea if the finish will be similar to this but just to show the material used may make a big difference to the final appearance of our stadium...

They said the wave shape was because we play flowing football and they wanted flowing lines to reflect this. :)

was just thinking .......any one ask about the cockerel????

Not specifically, and can't remember the exact words, but the implication was to keep all things Tottenham, and as the cockerel features in the designs, I can't imagine they wouldn't have it.

Hmmm. That would at least solve the naming problem. 'Butt Plug Arena'.

I'm with Robin here - butt plug is not the way forward though it's a valiant effort

The logo does, I can't see the cockerel itself. I think they should have a big clock too. More buildings should have clocks on them, like in the olden days. None of this digital shit either, a proper analogue clock.
