Hmmmm...I can see this fiasco becoming an example of what to look out for in future windows.

I mean how many other transfers would mention the words Fenian and IRA let alone have the transfer being on and off again 7 times in 2 hours.

Top stuff.

2-3 days to think is just enough time for someone else to bid for him after this farce.

We are now sat here looking like mugs hanging on a string...Did Levy make his millions writing for Eastenders??

Just 2 to 3 days to see if Man U make a bid for more like, he's just using the club IMO.

According to Sky Sports, it seems like he has rejected us. LINK: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11675_3020075,00.html

It does not matter, really - never wanted him anyway, and I think we can do a lot better than signing him - also with less money.

Let's move on and do the business!

A link worth bumping SK, because as posted above it now says he's thinking about it. Whether this is a sign to Man U to get a bid in we can only wait and see. I find it hard to believe that the hold-up was Routledge saying no because they must have asked him beforehand.

Easily thread of the window so far, made by a brief appearance of the Rangers fan. Good to see we gave him enough rope to hang himself.

Still slightly disturbing that with our clear need of a CB and already having Chimbonda, Gunter, Ifil, Stalteri not to mention Tainio and Jenas on the books, we are still looking for a right back.

Fair play to him, that's loyalty for you.

On another note, I haven't seen much of him, but £8m's a lot for a possible flash-in-the-pan.

Has anyone got the definition of the bid? Earlier it was mentioned that there is a palyer exchange but little or nothing has come through ITK about it.

Get off it! This is a 23 year old guy who plays for his home town club. His stock is as high as its ever been... can you blame him for needing a couple of days to make a decision that could determine not only how his career goes, but his life as a whole.

Jebus

Doesn't do the kidneys any harm either.

'Wee' in which sense?
