hutton is one of those unfortunates who will always have a double chin, no matter how skinny he is. he is a pelican.

this has nothing to do with his on the pitch abilities i admit. i prefer corluka, just. hutton has been much better this season though.

 That is probably the funniest thing i've read on this message board ever. Well played sir, consider yourself repped.

Still no news on this? No mention in the team news again and not in the squad. Could have done with him last night, mainly because it would have allowed Gallas to move back into the middle and sure things up. Dawson and Bassong were getting pulled all over the place!

Someone just said to me that Hutton went on the lash after the Scotland game and Harry lost the plot. Can anyone confirm?

pretty sure thats a rumour (which has been doing the rounds on Spurs forums), but some on Spurs Odyssey have said that Harry has given him gardening leave to go to rehab for his drinking.....yet someone over there as well said its not true and that he's fallen out with Harry.

people are also saying that he picked up an injury when playing for Scotland, but its strange there has been no report on it from our site

The rumour I heard was a big bust up after the Fulham game. Possibly fisticuffs.

After Milan Harry said something like 'All the players who made this trip have the right attitude'. I think he pointedly said 'who made this trip' rather than at the club because Hutton didn't make the trip.

He's got form as well, hasn't he? Didn't he beat his old man up in the street in Glasgow?

Thread over on Spurs Odyssey says it, but someone later says its not true

So really, I doubt anyone knows whats going on with him.

I certainly think it's plausible-either that he went AWOL after the Scotland game or that he's in rehab. Regardless, what dreadful timing.

One of my best mates played in the same youth team with Hutton at Rangers, and I'm pretty sure their parents still keep in touch so I'll get onto my mate and see if I can get any info.

This is the problem when the club choose to stay deafly silent on various issues (ala Lennon, King, Woodgate injuries), people make up all sorts of rumours that are "probably" so wide of the mark its actually more damaging to the club. I mean come on, if a premier league player was an alcoholic do you actually believe they could even train to the required standard let alone play at right wing back??? get a grip people and get a grip THFC. Just tell us a blatant lie if you want but please for the sake of Alan Hutton (who i dont actually rate to be honest) just tell us something to stop this rumour whoring.

Didn't spot this earlier. Hadn't heard the rumour about the fisticuffs.

For me, it's irrelevant that it was his father who was on the wrong end of a beating, though.

He has a groin injury, been taking pain killing injections for it.

He was completely dropped for the game following the Fulham cup match and then back on the bench for the midweek game following.

However, he picked up the groin injury in the Scotland game last week and has been out injured since.

It's not too serious so hopefully will get back in the squad this weekend if Corluka is out.

Regarding Kyle Walker, He has already played for two clubs on loan this season (QPR and Villa) so I believe that would make him ineligable for Spurs but not 100% sure on that.

That sounds more believing
