they wont go higher and Inter will fail to sell.. meaning Bastoni comes into the frame...its obvious that's what we waiting for
Oh it’s completely obvious that’s what we are waiting/hoping for. I’m just not sure Skriniar is definitely staying yet.

The reality here is that if we really want Bastoni or Gvardivol it’s probably this summer or not. When Paratici talked about sometimes you need to pay that little bit extra he wasn’t talking about on every deal he was talking about the signings that fundamentally impact the way you play and set up for the long term. There two are those sort of players.

Inter sound horrendous to deal with but I think these are the sort of deals that might happen later in the window once we have decluttered the squad and know what money we have

I think most people just aren't going to get excited about one article suggesting PSG may look at an alternative player, when 90% of the time that's just a negotiation ploy
inter want a minimum amount, they gotba big bill , can't haggle

So PSG, in the midst of negotiations, announce they will no longer pay ridiculously inflated fees for players. Well, I suppose It might knock a few grand off the ridiculously inflated fee they will inevitably pay for Skriniar…

PSG have definitely changed their philosophy under Campos and will be more steady with the fees they pay and the players they buy. People who think they're the same are wrong.
Not that that means we're going to get Bastoni but I suppose we can hope.

I would love it if Inter were stiffed by everyone else and in turn screw up their transfer plans and budget. Maybe offer them a derisory bid for Bastoni on the last hour of the window.

More chance they're going to use Campos to identify young players to sell on for big money even if they never touch the first team, following City and Chelsea's lead - it's really one of the only ways a grubby sportswashing club can establish a veneer of sustainability, and it's less risky than continuing to fiddle the books with improbable sponsorship deals.

Hopefully the Skriniar move happens sooner rather than later so we can move on from Bastoni once and for all, for this year anyway.

I would really love if we could sign a top level CB. While I am perfectly happy with the signings we made, if we have another top level CB, we will be transformed fully. Looks like Koulibaly, Skriniar and De Ligt all might go and strengthen other teams.
