Couldn't do any harm for Perisic to catch up with his old mate while he's in London, you know, maybe give him a quick tour of the stadium and training ground... :sneaky:

fan opinion means very little, but from the little research i’ve done it seems that inter fans have reluctantly accepted this deal is likely to happen

(they also are very eager to get digs in about him coming to us specifically, a club they view as inferior, but i feel that’s just sour grapes..)

Starts on the bench , if anyone’s watching the game. Romero starts for Argentina though.

A bit off topic, but I do think clubs like Bayern and PSG would do better in Europe if their domestic leagues were more competitive.
Not sure I agree with this. Bayern have won numerous times and the Bayern team of 2020 dominated Europe like no other I've seen in recent years. That team was a machine. The only reason it didn't sustain that is because clubs like Liverpool came in and took key players and the winning formula was somewhat ruined. If you're good you're good.

Anyone got eyes on the Italy bench? Can you see Paratici behind him whispering in his ear?

Nah that Bayern team were the best at exploiting covid. I mean that in a good way. The sport scientist there were really good. It was all about better conditioning.

You'r Italian yourself? I read once they are the most supoorted team in Italy after Juve and thats only because Juve is everyone's 'old lady'. Inter were a massive club

Bastoni just came on for Italy. Not much he can do though with Argentina absolutely dominant.

And... He just stopped a goal from the 'good for everyone but spurs' lo Celso.
