The player will come here it’s quite complicated due to many reasons other than his family are very settled a big reason is contes longevity tho as bad as it sounds if we strike this deal he’s coming for the manager more so than the club. Hopefully he falls in love like the rest of us have

Alessandro Bastoni has told Inter he wants to join Tottenham to link up with former manager Antonio Conte, 90min understands.
Spurs have already taken Ivan Perisic for free from San Siro and want to bolster their options in central defence with a move for Italy international Bastoni.
90min understands the centre-back's desire to reunite with Conte has seen him inform the Nerazzurri of his desire to leave. Bastoni played under Conte when Inter won the 2020/21 Serie A title and has since enhanced his reputation with another excellent league campaign.
Bastoni would compete for a spot in Tottenham's back three, which has incorporated Cristian Romero, Eric Dier and Ben Davies in a settled defence since Conte's arrival.
Inter are now reluctantly willing to enter talks over a transfer and have plans to bolster their own defence if Bastoni leaves.

Agree. That's the reality. Both Kulu and Bentancur cited Conte as a big reason they came to Spurs too.

Yeah. If Conte goes and this guy wants to leave I assume we will get a decent wedge for him. Feel like we need to get used to doing a bit more wheeling and dealing.

Yep, and Kulu has definitely fallen in love with the club - obviously slightly different that he wasn't too happy at Juve but bodes well for us

I would! I really hope Conte sees himself with us long term if next season goes really well. He'd make us title winners eventually I'm sure of it. Would love it to be true.
