Looks like it won't be happening then. Can't fault the club at all we were willing to pay what it took but its not to be.

Gutted as I really like the player and am not overly fussed on Torres (if that is 5he back up option).

Bastoni's agent has come out and said it right after a meeting with the Inter board though. Slightly different.

I'm still clinging onto a shred of hope. Delph did an interview saying he definitely wasn't leaving and then trotted off a week later If I recall correctly. i will say, as incredible as bastoni is on the ball, i had serious concerns about him defensively in england

i also have these same concerns over gvardiol and torres. not great
