Mixed feelings about this. I had high hopes he could do a job for us but then I also think he was never going to be first choice. It's a decent price and a good move for him because he'll get to play every week. I've always felt he's too slight to make it to the very top, a fear I now reserve for Edwards and Winks. Wish him well.

Hope we got a buy back option in the contracts....
Good luck to the lad, hope he does well. Thought he might be the next Kane break through player but injuries completely screwed him last year.

I thought he might go all the way, and I guess he still might - he was touted from a very young age. But Poch knows his onions and apart from getting a good sale for us, and a good move for him, it's got to be good for young players to see that if they come to us and don't make it we won't just keep farming them out on loan indefinitely (a la Chelsea, Man City etc). All part of the image of a good club for a young player to join - not a dead end if you don't make it straight away.
