Nice theory, but Barca are only banned from REGISTERING players. They can continue to sell players during the ban.

Also we'll probably see them give Barca some slack when it comes time to actually enforce that decision.

Capoue and Bentaleb aren't even in the squad tonight. Sandro, Dembele and Paulinho are understandably rusty, but all good players. The ITK says Poch is happy with the CM options, but really really likes Schneiderlin.

Why would we pay Alex Song £9.4m a year to sit on the bench and impede Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason's development?

If you had told me three or four years that Song would end up at West Ham, I'd have called the psychiatric ward.
