I believe our top priority this summer should be securing a Defensive Midfielder (DM) like Onana. I initially had high expectations for Biss as our key player in this position, but his defensive performance this season has been disappointing, as has Bentancur's.

Sarr has potential to excel as a DM with added muscle mass, but this transformation won't occur over the summer. Therefore, Onana seems to be our best option for this position.

That being said, although it's highly unlikely, I would love for us to consider João Neves. He seems to be a player who could contribute more offensively than Onana.

Overrated with a poor attitude.

Hopefully we don’t sign him because he’s got £60m down the drain written all over him.

Saw enough in that 45 minutes against Chelsea that we should stay well clear. Poor touch and technique under pressure and didn’t seem that fussed with what was going on around him.

Feels like a link that's only there because of PSR . In fact most of that list only feels like it's there because of cheap finances may play a part.

He's every athletic and not bad with the ball but I'm pretty certain we could find someone with similar attributes at half the price of we look across the continent.

I’ve got to be honest, despite seeing lots of scouting reports about him being a high potential player, I’ve yet to see what the fuss is about.
he is young, tall and athletic, so fits certain parameters for a cdm in a single pivot position.
But he doesn’t appear to possess great positional sense or read the game exceptionally.
maybe the added attraction is just how young he is, and how he’s already gained great experience in Ligue 1 and now the PL at the age of 22.
It is also worrying that Everton’s resurgent has convinced with him dropping out of the starting 11.

Finding the next Rodri doesn’t appear to be an easy search

The more I watch this guy the less impressed I am. He looks the part physically but it kind of drops off after that.
