Exactly, this was the turning point. No use blaming that Twunt Terry. For all we know, we may have ended up signing Karl Henry, Hibbert and Joe Cole instead of Hazard and Oscar.

just watched a program on bt sport the covered various lower league clubs including Rushden & Diamonds and Scarborough. Really puts some things into perspective and drives home what entitled, whiney tits we can be at times. We're consistently in the top 6 teams in one of the worlds best leagues, other fans have lost their club or, like say Leeds, are unrecognisable from a few years ago. Nothing has gone wrong at Tottenham Hotspur, not really.

That villa game was pain..
Villa were so poor at the time even after after Rose got sent off (deservedly tbh) & Bale went to left back we still looked the more likely.

It weren't so much subbing vdv for parker, it was the fact that for about 25 mins before everyone could see VDV was literally playing on one leg & hooking him for Defoe was the obvious thing to do, yet Arry just did nothing.
