So, this is partly my own fault, well completely my own fault really.

Its my lad's 5th birthday in two weeks and as in the previous 4 years I have been playing a dangerous game of waiting for the shirt prices to be reduced before buying one.....
.....and for the past week absolutely nowhere has had a shirt in the right size in either the home, away or third kits. Ive tried the online shop, all the physical shops, every major retailer that could stock them, and countless websites.
I was gutted that my attempt at brain washing him into being the next generation of supporter has failed at the 5th hurdle, especially as this is the first year he has actually said he wanted a shirt. Its all because I was looking to save a few quid. Bugger.
Is looking to save 50% on a XS Youth shirt really worth risking my son's support? of course it isnt. Why o why did I wait this long?
When the website last week kindly informed me that there were 'under 5 remaining' did i pounce to ensure he has his number 5 shirt to go with 4,3,2 and 1? Did I heck!!
No, I preferred to leave it far too late and have to resort to looking through adverts for suppliers from thailand who could provide the shirts, albeit without the underarmour logo! (i knew something was missing in the picture and i must admit it took me a while to notice what it was).
Even, my dear old dad, paid return trips to the Enfield Town and High Road stores this morning to scour the shelves (wouldnt have taken long in Enfield).
Alas, still no shirt to be found anywhere.

Then, as if answering my call from deep in the abyss, a little voice inside my head said "go on, check the online store again. go on, once more wont hurt, its an excuse not to do some work at the very least."
Like a faithful servant i obeyed that command and there is was, staring me in the face. A Youths XS Home shirt AVAILABLE TO BUY NOW.
I dont know where the availability has come from, there may have been an extra box on the top shelf of the warehouse that no-one had looked in. It may be that a Spurs Community member has returned a shirt for some reason; but whatever the reason for there now being a shirt available, from the bottom of my heart and genuinely with a tear in my eye I thank you. My boy will be very happy

Next year, i vow to buy one early, i promise.

Now, while my prayers are being answered and as these things come in 3's....can we please win our remaining games and i'd also like to win the euromillions tonight.

You should just wait and buy the new shirt! You'll get more value for money that way!

You should have just asked Vertonghen for his number 5 shirt. After all he's barely making any use of it at the moment.

Did you also ask in your prayer that Levy appoint LVG?

Well done on getting the shirt.

As for Under Armor logo not being on Thailand shirts, they just don't display it on pictures but it always comes with it, something about copyright I believe using the pictures

a quick update...
...so the boy opens his pressies and loves his new spurs shirt, he calls it his 'Spurs 5' shirt, to distinguish it from his Spurs 4 and Spurs 3 shirts etc.
The missus asks the boy to go and get changed for his party and suggests he wears his new smart shirt that granny bought, to which he replies "No. I am wearing my Spurs 5"

Nice work son, I think you are starting to get the hang of this football supporter lark. keep up the good work.

Better yet, Lennon's shirt. It might fit... and we could do with him being without for a while.
