Another Egyptian

Dont know if folk here watched the African Nations cup this year. Rumours in Egypt though suggest that Egypt's star man and the player of thr tournament Hosni Abd Rabbo is being looked at by a host of premiership clubs. As a spurs fan i'd love to see him come here. Hes young, fast, athletic, very good techinically, good header of the ball and got a great strike on him.
Anyone seen him?

I think both Mido and Ghaly had bags of talent and both of them were committed when they were playing. However, when they weren't they had no loyalty to the club and I suppose who could blame them. I can only assume the same could be the case for Hosni Abd Rabbo. Is it likely he would become a first choice regular?

Hosni is much cleverer than ghaly as a player, and is always higher up in hte pecking order for egypt. Personally i think hed b a first team regular cos hes batter than what we have at the moment and has bags of potential to b quality. Although i agree with you petewise regarding mido and ghaly losing interst sligtly when not playing, not all egyptians are the same. Hosni has never had any problems with any club he has been at, much more mature. He will most likely be in the premiership next year, and then we will be able to judge him i suppose
