Whilst I didn't listen to it myself so cannot be certain. This is where it was mentioned according to Everton fans.

RE the player, don't see it myself. Think he is an absolute hype job and nowhere near the level of praise he receives. Certain stats look good so assume Conte could improve him but think he's a level or two below NZ in terms of potential.

Newcastle have offered £25 million. That’s probably about right. Like I said, we’ve been linked since the start of the month and scouted him this season so I wouldn’t be surprised if we did make a move.

He really reminds of a young Oxlade-Chamberlain. Full of pace, occasionally does something brilliant but 90% of the time has no end product at all. Always hard to tell how these kind of players will end up. No guarantee he becomes another Oxlade-Chamberlain, he could be much better but 40m is a big gamble on pure potential with no evidence as yet

I like him. Good technical ability but lacking in end product. Still young though.

Newcastle buying this lad has serious vibes of City buying Jack Rodwell back in the day. Don’t think he’d play a whole lot Everton would be better off with the cash. I don’t rate Gordon (Rodwell was good but very injury prone) so if Newcastle want to spend £50m on him then I’d rather they buy him than someone actually worth that kind of money. From what I’ve seen of Gordon he throws himself to ground a lot but offers little else. A shit Jack Grealish.
