Antonio Conte can be a project coach at Tottenham, according to his assistant, as he prepares for crunch talks over his future. Conte’s contract expires at the end of the season and Spurs are planning negotiations to secure him to a longer-term deal during the World Cup.

Sadly I can see him
Signing,

then the football being rubbish / results not good enough and getting sacked. It feels like the spurs cycle!

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Is it a prerequisite of a Spurs fan not to look for the positives? What keeps you going as a Spurs fan?

Feel like it always made sense that contract negotiations would be something discussed over world cup. He's consistently called for patience, never had any concerns that he wasn't committed to the project for at least another season or two.

I think on his side of things even without the world cup it made sense to leave it as close to Jan as possible if felt it could help him with his demands for the winter window, though tbh I've never felt any concern he wasn't being backed.

Please give this guy the tools he needs. In Conte we trust! So lucky to have a world class manager like him. Imagine how many clubs would que up if he were to leave.
