In some ways he's lucky to have something as all-consuming as football at the moment. The hardest grief is in isolation with no distractions from it. What he absolutely doesn't need is probing journalists asking endless pointless questions he's already answered dozens of times. He'll have good people around him to help him through though.

It can lead to burn out if you don’t grieve, and just fill the emotional void with work
