Kane will not be there because he will not be a Spurs player on Sunday IMO. If he was to stay, he will disappear for a while whilst the club do their best PR with supporters to fix the shite he has created.

Kane is still the best striker the majority of us have seen at the club in our lifetimes. For that he deserves respect. I dont blame him for wanting to move on, he will never win the league or the CL with Spurs as we will not be competitive in the next 3-4 years at least and by which time he'll be past his peak. I dont think he went about the situation in the right way though and was naïve or ill advised or both. But i dont get the hatred and feelings of hurt i keep hearing. like none of us have ever wanted to change jobs or even applied for other jobs to wrangle a pay rise or promotion. Thats life and its his job not his escape
If I was held in very high regard at my job (for example a manager or something), I'd come under heavy scrutiny if I were to take holiday leave, and then have an extra week off work, without agreeing it with them beforehand. Especially if during that extra, unauthorised week off, I visited Florida - the delta variant hot-spot of the USA.

At the end of the day, footballers are doing a job, the same as all of us. If we made the same decisions as he has, there's a reasonable chance that we'd be sacked for doing so. Depends upon the company and their policies.

if you where held in high regard at your job,
i think you would be able to do, what the F! you wanted to do,
if your that good at your job , they would not want to lose you

Agreed… Any fan booing one of our own players is a disgrace

It's like I said, we can say whatever we like on here and vent our spleens accordingly, but NOT at an actual match. It would have such a negative effect on the rest of the team to hear that.

I would say I'm held in high regard at my workplace but i would be almost certainly sacked if I decided to take a week off unauthorised. If not sacked I would be demoted without question
