Maybe he was telling the truth that he came back when agreed. If he decided not to cut his holiday short because of covid I don't blame him. Could today have been any better? Players stepped up individually and as a group to get the result against the club who are lowballing for our best homegrown player in forty years, if not longer. 100% that was a group reaction to someone thinking he's bigger than the collective.

If you want him, City, pay the fucking price. And Harry, if you wanted to pick your club at 28-years-old, you shouldn't have signed a six-year deal when you were 25. Could have just done what Eriksen did and stayed on the same money and kept your options open.

Rinse and repeat. Its easy to get carried away by negative news based on spurious gossip. There probably was something going on woth regards to city or plugging for more dosh, nature of the beast, but it never ceases to amaze me that things become 'fact' because it says it on the Internet. The only factual information we have, is that kane has a contact at spurs, he said himself he would never miss training etc etc. Add that to his already professional reputation and I know where I tend to side. But it's easy to get caŕied away on the waves of bad vibes. (See winks also). No facts, just rumour and conjecture. So booing is misplaced and counterproductive in this case.

Until he actually does something there's actual evidence of, I don't see the point.

Kane is still the best striker the majority of us have seen at the club in our lifetimes. For that he deserves respect. I dont blame him for wanting to move on, he will never win the league or the CL with Spurs as we will not be competitive in the next 3-4 years at least and by which time he'll be past his peak. I dont think he went about the situation in the right way though and was naïve or ill advised or both. But i dont get the hatred and feelings of hurt i keep hearing. like none of us have ever wanted to change jobs or even applied for other jobs to wrangle a pay rise or promotion. Thats life and its his job not his escape

If my company offered me huge money to see out a six year contract then I went out of my way to get out halfway through I would fully expect them to think I am a dick.
