Any tips for securing tickets for Real Madrid online

Afternoon Ladies and Gents,

I missed out on AC Milan home tickets last time because of the whole online ticketing fiasco, I went online at 09.00 and my bar moved about an inch in an hour without me refreshing the button. I know im doomed for failure again on Friday at 09.30 but does anyone have any tips,

What really pi**sed me off was that my colleague at work joined up as a member the day before and got a ticket on the online system with no problems at all, made me sick to think I’ve got over 200 lp's and am a bronze member and someone comes along with no LP's and secures the ticket easy

they should have a bronze member priority period!!!

any help will be great

There usually is a bronze member priority, but I guess because there's not much time the don't have one.

i'm lothed to share this information as if more people are aware, it might make it more difficult for my "real" friends to get their tickets.. however I'm going to share this informations for my "online Buddies"

The bar of death is a quing system, the earlier you get it up, the more chance you have for being at the front of the que. If you are able to get the bar of death up at 7.30am on the day the tickets go on sale your be ahead of all those people who get on line just before 9am as thats when they think they go on sale.

So in summary. Tickets go on sale from 9-9.30 but you can start quing before that time. The guy i sit next to opened his window up at about 8.15 for Milan tickets and got one.

Good luck, now if anyone has a spare membership number with enough loyalty points to get a away ticket please let me know. me and my pal bot hhave season tickets i have 400 LP and hopefully should be ok, but he's only got 200 and probably won't be able to get one !

The earlier you log on and get queuing the better?

I dont know if its as simple as that, plenty of stories on here on the morning the AC tickets went on sale that counter that.

It has to be timed to perfection, if you log on at 7:30, queue for 90 mins and get through at 9, the tickets still won't be available to select, you have refresh for the game to appear and you'll be sent to the back of the queue.

It really is luck!!

When they say you have 30 minutes to buy tickets, is that once you're logged in? or does that include the time it takes to queue aswell?

Milan was the only time I've ever failed to get tickets, so need to rethink my strategy somewhat.

You can log in with multiple browsers, and as has already been said, you can log in too early.

I remember reading somewhere that the more times you log in from the same IP the slower it gets.

Whether in different tabs or IE, Chrome, Firefox, whatever... does that ring a bell anyone?

I am off on Friday but the alarm is being set for 7.30, I will log on and get in line...and then go back to sleep for a while.
