Midfield looks very disjointed and Trippier is entirely ineffective on the left. I'd take off Sissoko and Trippier for GKN and TOB. Go 4 at the back in a 433 or 4231. We should take Trippier off soon anyway to save him for Saturday as Aurier has a red card ban.
Wouldn't mind Llorente on and sit Kane behind him.

We've played a lot of crosses and long balls so far. If the first half matches the second it's a perfect game for Llorente.

To be fair to midfield we are playing today, if all our players were fit, i dont think any or many only 1 of them would be in the starting line up

No Eriksen. Players are playing out of position all over the pitch. It’s really no mystery why.
They still could easily communicate better, who goes for what etc. A lot of the situations I wouldn't expect Eriksen being the one picking up the ball/intercepting it anyway.

We havent really got a team thats set to keep the ball so we will just have to look to try get a couple more and try for the clean sheet. Id look to bring llorente or nkoudou on if we dont improve because i think we would be better suited to gkn out wide or llorente as target man.

You must have been watching BT sports one then mate because on 3 we have been sloppy and lucky in equal measure, turn over and have a look.

On a side note, Dortmund and Real are already a cracker just from 1st half highlights alone!

I wonder why Poch doesn't use KWP as LWB when Davies is playing LCB
No idea either.

Trippier on the left totally nullifies his best and only real talent which is his incredible right foot. KWP is actually pretty good on the left and has a a decent resume of performances there.

Perfectly reasonable away performance in Europe. We've seen these kinds of games a zillion times - they're hardly ever easy.

Winks has been fine, but IMO showing why it's wrong to project too much onto him at this stage of his development. He carried the ball out in one counter late in the half and looked lost as he approached their box, played a poor ball out to Auerier in a 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 situation. Good prospect, but not quite yet an obviously 1st choice consideration when squad is all fit.

Bit worried about Aurier's positioning - they have a lot of space down our right. Sissoko's been fine. Kane and Sanchez good. Sonny poor. Everyone else, ok.

Poch really does make a rod for his own back.

I'm pretty sure the dynamics and structure would be drastically improved by having Davies at LB and anyone else, including me, in the 8 1/2 role that Sissoko plays. He's just such a fucking awful footballer.

The pundits claiming they should have been 3-0 up are stretching it a bit, none of their chances were real quality chances and the regular Lloris molotov fuckbomb wasn't a chance at all, luckily.

Considering the fact this is a fairly different set up to the norm, in a difficult place to play. I don't think we've been as bad as many are making out. I think we are missing Jan more than anyone else, as the back 3 aren;t as organised by far.

Son clearly needs a proper run of games, He looks a bit rusty and we all know how effective he can be.
