Any of Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla or Rosicky are far more effective in this Arsenal side than Ozil has been.

Rosicky in particular has been criminally undervalued by Wenger. Great player.

I heard on the radio last week (on Talksport I think) a comment that Arsene Wenger is playing guys too hard at roles which are alien to them - basically getting players with little physicality and asking them to be physical. This was explained as a consequence of not having any naturally physical guys in the team - slight fellas are having to do it instead and the result is soft muscle injuries due to stress put on naturally more fragile bodies. I found it quite interesting.

Aye, he's been horrendous for them, this may actually work in their favour.
That said, their injury list is getting pretty big now, lots of questions being asked about their physios and medical staff at the mo.

Ozil makes it eleven players out injured for them at the moment. A whole team worth! Damn straight, there should be questions asked of the medical team!

I used to work with the chief medical officer of their academy. He told me how Wilshere's constant injury problems were a result of Wenger pushing him too much and not letting him recover enough. He said Wenger's really bad for doing it. Perhaps he does the same for the first team, hence the amount of recurring injuries they seem to get.

You just know this 10-12 weeks is gonna turn into 6-8 weeks and he'll come back firing on all cylinders like what usually happens with those ****s.

They are really struggling at the moment ain't they! I will say though that they haven't had an injury crisis in the centre of defence, because if they did they would be in trouble! Woefully short of cover at the back. Their premier league squad includes the following defenders:

Debuchy, Gibbs, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal & Chambers.

After them you are looking at kids like Bellerin.

Wow, completely agreed. Not only is Rosicky damn good, but he always steps it up yet another notch against us. Absolutely hate seeing him trotted out against us, and was delighted to see him kept on the bench for our recent trip to the Emirates.

In Arsenal's wiki page, their reserve squad is referred to as "UEFA Reserve squad" but ours isn't and it appears that no other team is that way. Any idea why this might be?

Anyone realise that they've been playing all of their matches in the league and champions league without any proper center back cover? If Merter or Kosc goes down, then they might well find themselves "slipping." When I initially raised this, I at least thought they had a young boy on the bench, even though that would be risky and stupid enough.

A wonderful intro for Wenger jokes...

Good job Woolwich brought in that super physio bloke in the summer....clearly paying off for them now!!
Also, Ozil went to Munich for an MRI scan, you'd think with those eyes he could've done it himself

For the last god knows how many years the Arse have had some sort of crisis during the season but always find a way to fourth, and probably will again. I of course hope this doesn't happen this season, and ideally because we pushed them out.
