Damn just got rid of Sky as I was fed up with the poor service and the big fee!

Guess I'll try and catch it in the pub or radio then!

As posted last week, it's listed for ITV1 at 7:30. AFAIK a club always plays one leg on ITV and another on Sky

Woo! The first leg was on terrestrial over here but on a channel I can only get via analogue. I forgot how bad that is.

It could be worse, it might have been Robbie Savage who somehow, inexplicably, has managed to get himself as a bit of a regular on Radio 5Live.

Given that his whole game is based purely on winding people up, he must have one hell of an agent to get that gig.

6-0-6 has gone massively downhill since the days of Alan Green or Richard Littlejohn steering the show for a full 2 hours. Now its a load of fans calling in and just asking for Robbie Savage's opinion on stuff. Who cares??? I don't actually mind Robbie Savage as a bloke (which may put me in the minority here) but I really ain't interested in listening to, what has essentially become, a Q&A session between him and a load of fans, chaired by a fat Man Utd fan, who always seems only 10 seconds away from laughing at something which isn't even funny.

Football is a serious business and, rightly or wrongly, at 6pm on a Saturday its the most important thing in the world to a lot of people. It is therefore not the time for a 'light-hearted' debate about the week's issues, which is what it turns into between the inane questions put to Robbie Savage, ("Hi I'm calling from Redditch and support West Brom. Just got back from the game today so I'd like to ask Robbie, which is better - cats or dogs?") It used to be 2 hours of fans ranting but also having a decent discussion with Alan Green about football - now its just shit.

Rant over.

(Apologies for going off topic but if I tried posting that on BBC they would probably just censure me).

Could be worse, it could be TalkSport with that muppet Danny what's-his-face. the guy is obnoxious beyond reason and talks with such anger and determination about cr*p he knows little about. The other day he was still going on about the World Cup and how Capello hasn't really apologised and blah blah blah get over it.

Anyway, I’m lucky enough not to care what channel the game is on as I’ll be at the Lane. I was hoping for a carnival atmosphere after victory in Berne however I guess it will be a typical Spurs night at the lane where we probably go ahead early, then concede and then look like never scoring again only to pop up with on e with 15 minutes to go. Then obviously get all nervous and sit back while Gomes makes 2 outstanding saves and we crawl over the finish line with fans having aged about 10 years in 90 minutes. Good old Tottingham.

This.

And I think you mean Danny Kelly - he's annoying but I have to love him for his reaction (on air) to Aaron Lennon's equaliser in THAT game at the Emirates.

"Uh - Goal. Goal Stan goal. Goal at the Emirates...I LOVE FOOTBALL STAN - I LOVE IT"
