The only joy I've got from football this year is watching them collapse under pressure.

Generally I couldn't give a toss about them, I hate Chelsea more.
Have to agree with hating Chelsea more. On the Arsenal thing, I know some people who are Arsenal fans who are absolute dickheads, honestly believe the Arsenal supporter thing is the main reason for this, but I do revel in Arsenal's misfortune purely to see them suffer. This season has been an absolute dream in the way they bottled it for that reason alone. That said, I also know Arsenal fans who are not dickheads and are prepared to take this one on the chin. On top of that, my daughter's hero is Katie McCabe, so don't really have any big issue with her showing an interest in the women's team. In short, I don't really have an issue with the club, but more the annoying carry on of their fanbase, whereas Chelsea, hate that club with a passion. Possibly have more dislike for West Ham and Liverpool than Arsenal if I'm honest.

I find it a bit awkward gloating about them bottling the league when we have been nothing short of a disgrace.

Their future is rosier than ours...

This thread started in January and is only four pages long so on the whole I'd conclude that we're not too obsessed with arsenal.

They're obsessed with us. So are Chelsea. So are West Ham. So is everyone else for some reason.

I have been laughing at them since Saturday night, because it was the biggest bottlejob in modern history. And after what everyone else said about the year we lost to Leicester when we never actually were top at any point (ironically I believe they were). We bottled nothing and only ran out of steam v West Brom and then the battle at the Bridge and then lost 2nd.

They were top for 30+ weeks 8 points clear at one point and lost it with City having games to spare. If City were to catch them at least lose it on the final day, not the week before. And not because you lost.

No awkwardness here. We're shit this season and we accepted that a long time ago. If they had started poorly and ended strongly that would have been much worse for us because while we have unravelled like market stall jumpers at least they have been the only silver lining in our season. They have been gloating all through the season that they are gonna win the league but instead their season got bad, very bad. Very, very, very bad!
