Absolute madness in Argentina today. A player hit his head on a concrete wall surrounding the pitch and died, which is so terribly sad. Head injuries are fatal. RIP.

And tonight, during Boca Juniors vs River Plate, River Plate players were burned with pepper spray coming out of halftime. Debating whether to play the half or stop the game now. And there seems to be confusion as to whether it was a cop or a fan who was the culprit(at least on the chat box next to the channel im watching)

The player that hit his head died yesterday, but the incident was last weekend. He looked to be recovering, and he suddenly died yesterday because of some internal bleeding I think.

And what happened last night at Boca was one of the most disgraceful scenes I've seen in a football match. It was no cop. There were a couple of boca "fans" that did it. I was a luminescent flare and pepper spray. A bunch of cowards that couldn't stand losing. Boca players also were a disgrace. They tried to play the game, and accused River players of crying when they were clearly affected by the pepper spray.
The game is suspended, but it should clearly be considered as finished, and River should go through.

Does anybody follow Argentinian football at all? It’s bloody bonkers down there and there is a great podcast called Hand of Pod which is normally recorded weekly which covers it all.

They talked a few weeks ago about a suspicious pre season trip organised by Carlos Tevez which fell through 48 hours before take off. 2nd time it’s happened now at separate clubs….
