I haven't read the full thread but I noted in The Guardian match report that
Wilshere is supposed to have aimed a punch at Mirallas in the tunnel at half time .. Anyone else know ?

As they were going off Mirallas squirted a drink at Wilshere. Couldn't see exactly what was thrown, but Wilshere kicked off big time.

Everton put a lot of effort into that game. Both teams worked incredibly hard off the ball. It doesn't often get talked about but Arsenal actually work harder off the ball the most teams in the EPL.

I thought Moyes sub taking off Barkley for Jelavic left them light in midfield and that was the first time Arsenal really got full control of the game. It was a really poor tactical move.

I agree. Barkley looked decent. Jellyfish has been shit all season. Apart from scoring against us. Typical.

I'm not sure Barkley's great but he worked hard and gave Everton another busy body in the middle of the pitch, when he went off and Everton went a kind of 442 (Exactly what he did against us if I remember correctly) and it backfired, all of a sudden, for the first time in the game Arsenal were running rings round them and creating chances and situations.

It was tactically very poor I thought.

Your right. I suppose Moyes might say he felt he needed to do something to nick it at the end. It was a must win for then that one. Can't see them coming back from that. They have to win all their remaining matches.

Pretty sure I saw Wilshere riding round South London last night on a BMX with his tongue out stealing iPhones from young girls.

I think you're right, and he thought he'd try and nick it. But I don't think the situation's that depserate for them. They are only two points behind us/chelsea and 4 behind arsenal. All they need is for us and chelsea to have a bad result or two and they could easily nick fourth. Though they have got a tough run in I think.

The ref looked like he wanted to play on until Arsenal scored. Where did that 90 seconds come from?

Anyway...good result for us. Time for us to make the most of it.

I agree with you sir.

*world ends*

Lol,@ moyes post-match

Reporter: "Did you see the scuffle in the tunnel at half time?"
Moyes: "I didn't see it. But I know someone who says that quite a lot"

Personally I would have preferred Everton to win, they have some really tough games coming up, Arsenal have much easier ones.

Plus I think a defeat would've been a catalyst for a poor performance at Fulham, against United and even away at QPR. Not a straightforward run for the next 3 games at all IMO.
