What the hell was going on with the injury time there? That sort of thing just adds to my conspiracy paranoia. The Arse always seem to catch so many breaks around this time of year...

Anyhow, great result for us. Really need to hope that it's knocked the Goons confidence enough that they'll start to slip up a bit now.

That's a decent result. Everton looked fatigued near the end, but didn't have too many heart-in-mouth incidents. If it went on any longer, Gibson looked like he was going to do something daft to throw the hard work away. Good stuff from the Toffees.

Everton's full backs are excellent. Seamus Colman is under rated and he and Baines could go a long way to making Everton a force to be reckoned with. Paired with Pienaar and Mirallas, Everton look really good on the flanks. As with us, if they only had a decent striker they'd probably achieve a lot more.

Great night as it goes - Arsenal and Everton drop points and my hometown club Cardiff up with the big boys!

Would everton be able to turn down, say a bid of £25 million for Baines and Coleman. I'm not advocating us doing it while we need to spend that cash on strikers

The most important thing about tonight is that it gives the lads a boost after a tough week. With the injured on the return we should be in decent fettle for Sunday.

The ref looked like he wanted to play on until Arsenal scored. Where did that 90 seconds come from?

Anyway...good result for us. Time for us to make the most of it.

Eer yep. We should be out of sight of those two. If only the officials hadn't handed arsenal the Norwich game.

You know what I mean. Yes it's annoying that we're not higher up the table, but it's encouraging to see that we have a very good team compared to them.

We must beat City so that RVP can go back to the Emirates and win the league.

That would be a beautiful slap in the face and deflate their morale.
