Kyle Walker-Peters has been ruled out of Sunday’s derby at The Emirates.
Eric Dier is also being assessed after complaining of irritation in his right hip.
Central midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has commenced on-field rehabilitation after a thigh problem ruled him out of the Newcastle match but remains unavailable for selection this weekend.

We've got a great squad. Let's move along from excuses and rumours and nonsense. Whoever plays should play with purpose and get at them.

Surely Aurier has to play
It is a bit odd if we have asked Aurier to leave this window as he is surplus to requirements. Oh by the way, before you go, can you just play in one of our biggest games of the season.

Same goes for Vertonghen - you're past it mate. Off you go. Oh but you're our best LCB - we need you for this game.

Dier would be my preference for RB (this whole season), but he can't get a look in.

Guess it will be Sissoko at RB.

Not a good feeling for this season
Really wierd developments
I felt like that immediately after the Newcastle game and obviously the vibes on here weren't positive for the most part of the week but the comments from the press conference and the fact that the on-the-field issues from the last few months came to a bit of a head last Sunday made me feel a bit more positive. Thank goodness also the European transfer window closes soon.

Dier needs to get back into the DMC role and allow the centre backs to split the way they used to.

(I think Dier will end up a CB but right now we done have a player who can play the anchor well enough and is fit)

No different to rose, eriksen or Toby playing . Besides Aurier looks happy in all the training pictures so I’m not so sure he’s on the way out

Dier is possibly injured. Tanguay is out so I think sissoko is better to play at cm with Aurier at rb
