Poch is an enigma sometimes, he really is! He orchestrates a stunning win over Chelsea, using I might add the high press that he is notorious for and we look like the team we have grown to love over the past few seasons. Then Today, he completely and utterly reverts us back to dark ages with the system and team he put out there today. Not so much the team, but playing Foyth was the catalyst for allowing that lot to piss all over us! Honestly, you have to ask sometimes what is so blindingly obvious to us that Poch doesn't see with giving Foyth the nod over proven, world-class players. If this is all about a fucking contract then Poch needs to ask some big questions of himself - unforgivable decision.

Clusterfuck all round.
Foyth, Aurier and Vertoghen rivals for
Worst performance.
In fact if we had played with 10 men
without Jan
we would probably have won.
Changes too late
Can't be arsed to watch
the Mersey derby now.
Sulking.
Probably beat them
in the Barbecue Cup.
Bad day at the office?
The whole bloody building
just burnt down.

Not really sure it's Dier and sissoko's fault either. Was clear from the start that it wasn't the game for them, at least in the diamond formation. We were way too narrow and everything was bypassing them. That's really pissed me off that has

Every prematch article I read said playing the diamond was a mistake today and we should have gone 3 at the back.

Emery outclassed Poch today.
Tbf didn’t take much, clear Arsenal’s defence looked shit so he went for all out attack in the hope of outscoring us, fortunately for him Poch didn’t realize our defence looked shit and done fuck all

Have to get a more dynamic midfield from somewhere, we were dominated in the challenge for large parts of the game and sissoko and dier were just left floundering as arse passed by them.

Losing is always painful, but I can accept it. What I can't accept is when we lose because of the same mistakes over and over agian.

On the assumption that Alderweireld was fit, there's no way Foyth should be starting this game. I admire Poch's faith in the player, but you end up making it worse by throwing in someone into an environment he's clearly not ready for.

Add in substitutions, or lack thereof, and it's the same story.

Poch is the greatest manager we've had in my lifetime, but his stubbornness is his biggest flaw.
I agree, it's something that may hold him back. Let's remember that Fergie used to drop plenty of clangers due to his stubbornness with certain players though.

It was frustrating because it was one ball into the channels over and over that was undoing yet we did nothing to prevent it. At 2-2 we should have tightened up those gaps and looked to keep them
at arms length, then got Moura on to look to stretch them on the break. Instead we continued playing into the same trap.

I hope Poch can learn from this one. He seemed to think we had to play in a similar fashion to Chelsea, which was never going to be the case.

Need to give it back to them in a couple of weeks time. Glad we have a quick opportunity to turn it around. Providing Poch can sort out his in game management.

I'm not reading into it too much. Arsenal did this last season. They can get up for it. They outplayed us and beat us to every ball. We have a great set of games coming up. We should get some serious points from them.

It worked well against Chelsea but I’m not keen on the 4-4-2 diamond I much prefer us playing a 4-2-3-1 with a fluid 3 behind Kane. Even though Sissoko has been good prior to today and I’m a big fan of Winks I thinks it paramount we bring in a starting CM in January to allow us to play that formation.

Got what we deserved there, no desire, no shape nothing and awful refereeing once again, although it made no real difference!! Worst of all the players didn't even look pissed off at the end and Poch was smiling!!! Fucking joke!!!!

This loss was against a team that contained Mustafi, Holding, Bellerin and a Bubble, in their defence which we made look invincible..
We are miles from making a challenge and against the teams that matter, we falter to deceive

I think our stats for losing the next game after an important, impressive win must be telling.

Against your main rivals you play your best available players end of story...

Hopefully, Man U will beat Gooners. I was worried about this match, because it was the third of three very important matches and yet was the least important. It was a derby away and therefore we just needed to not lose. That's why I'm disappointed that he didn't glue up the midfield and defence in the second half by going 5-3-2. This is the type of game where you need Lamela, because he brings the lash to the press. I think we were mentally exhausted.

Makes me feel a bit helpless that our alternative at RB is trippier. I think we are going to have fullback issues for a good few years at this rate.
