You’re taking everything i’ve said and creating really weird conclusions.

Yes, this is the best we’ve been in my life time and yes the squad is full of amazing players (although we looked much, much better in 16/17).

As I’ve said, we won’t reach the levels of Man City if ENIC refuse to finance us correctly. They’re sitting on billions of pounds and we’ve just gone a whole transfer window without spending a single penny, when the squad desperately need refreshing.

Dude - you literally posted this a few minutes ago:

We’ve won absolutely nothing, our squad is in a huge decline, our owners are doing absolutely nothing to support the manager and stem this decline and you think everything is fine? Wow

I agree we need investment but I just don't agree that the sky is falling in. And you started this discussion by feeling alienated the moment we left WHL - to build a stadium that is necessary for us to ever kick on. It just doesn't make sense mate. We're all disappointed but come on...

You just said we are on the decline.
Yet if we won this game it would be our best start of the season in the PL. You’re being ridiculously over the top saying we are on the decline and that is why I disliked your comment.
Our squad is hugely on the decline.

Lloris is not the same.
Rose is not the same.
Vertonghen is 31 years old.
Toby Alderweireld has 1 year left on his contract and is set to leave in the summer.
Trippier and Aurier are nowhere near the same level as Walker
Dier has gone completely off the boil.
Wanyama isn’t the same player
Dembele’s legs have gone
Eriksen has 18 months left on his contract
Kane isn’t half the player he was last season.

Despite knowing all of these things before the season began, how did ENIC support the club to remedy this?

They didn’t.

I used the club leaving WHL as a reference to the season. Nothing more.

Pochettino is hugely over-achieving with the squad that he has. If you don’t think there is issues with our current squad, you’re insane.

Good for you if you will enjoy watching the club battling for top 4 for the foreseeable future with no silverware to boot, but that’s not something I’m going to enjoy.

Interesting stats....only for this season but would love to see the rest. Earliest substitution not injury caused was 59th minute against Wolves....Eriksen for Son....only one half time substitution (don't know if result of injury) was Winks for Dembele against Huddersfield. Poch certainly believes in sticking to his guns regardless of what's happening on the pitch.

Guys, sometimes it happens. Much as we wish it wasn't the case Arsenal are also a good side who are rightly favourites at home to us. They're favoured to win and sometimes it happens. It doesn't detract from how we're consistently a top 4 side and have won a heck of a lot of consecutive games since the end of October. Over 38 we'll be above them.

Okay let me address of your points. What did Lloris do the wrong today? Alli just signed a new contract as well as Harry Kane. We still have Sanchez and Foyth is progressing. Trippier Was Englands
best player In the World Cup and started a head of Walker. Yes we need a new left back but I’m sure we will find someone. We have winks and Sissoko is starting to be the player we all hoped. In regards to Eriksen, i Am not sure what will happen, and that will be our weakest spot if he leaves. Everyone else already has a backup in place. Like I said youre ridicuosly over reacting.

I think we can all accept that it is possible to lose to Arsenal, as you say they are a decent team. What is annoying everyone is that a lot of what was wrong with today’s performance seems self inflicted. Foyth over Toby is just plain bizarre, and watching that second half and not sensing that we needed to change something is really poor management. We all love Poch, but it doesn’t mean he is above criticism

We’ve come from fuck all. Getting trounced
By these ****s twice a year for 20 years. We are now competitive. We are continuing on our journey. It’s isnt going to be an overnight thing. We lost to the Arse today. They wanted it. And they got it. It’s not unbelievable as they did it against Liverpool. We will beat them at home. It’s not the cluster fuck you ate making it out to be. Simple as that. We lost a game we don’t like losing. But we are on the same points as them and we’ve played away for 18 months. I fail to understand what you want. ENIC aren’t our sugar daddy. We get what we get from selling players. And investment. Not from rich parents.

He must learn composure and improve the weighting of his decision making under pressure.

He's the kind of individual that's got a lot of front, but is really insecure and has doubts about himself.

He needs to stop trying to 'prove' and work it the other way by being steady first and then building up.

Not too sure how wide his scope is for improvement, but he's shown when he's dead on his game he is effective for us.

He needs to look to Sissy and learn.
Couldn't agree more with the bit in bold. I think that was exactly his problem last season, which you often see from new signings. He's been much better in that regard this season but today was more like the player we saw in his first season.

You can't peer into someone's mind and know what's going on but I suspect it was a combination of feeling the pressure of the derby and wanting to prove something to Emery. Regardless, it's not something that is uncorrectable (think of how much Walker and Rose improved in terms of their composure under Poch, not to mention how much steadier Aurier himself had been this season) and I don't think it's something that he's necessarily doomed to suffer from forever.

Was Foyth that much worse than Vertonghen??

Lloris has made mistakes all season. I still really like Lloris, but he’s nowhere near the player he once was.

I never mentioned Dele as an issue? He’s been one of our better players.

Foyth is not progressing. He’s nearly cost us points in three games this season through rash decisions.

Using Trippier’s performance at the WC to justify how AWFUL he has been for Spurs is very, very weak, mate.

Kane most certainly doesn’t have a back up in place, and leaving Winks, who is relatively inexperienced himself, as our only fit CM was dangerously stupid.

I really don’t understand this attitude. I’m presuming you’re someone else who would happily take finishing in the top 4 consistently as an achievement?

No one can refute that we are a good club and I must admit I didn't think we would lose today but we are still a bit of a way off of being a realistic title challenger imo, I'm not sure we will finish above them this time but there is still a way to go so who knows but we have lost more than any of the others in the top 4/5.

If you'll just allow me to introduce a little bit of perspective, Chelsea beat Arsenal at home we beat Chelsea at home and Arsenal beat us at home, I'm not sure today's result defines our season.

Play KWP, because he's good enough and if we aren't going to play our top youth prospects ON TOP of not spending any money, then we're just fucking ourselves over even more.

KWP is inexperienced and didn't fare too well against west ham, so I can't imagine him doing any better against a better team like Woolwich.

We won't finish above City. They're financially doping but we'll finish above this lot we've played way more away games and are way more consistent. And no reason we can't win a cup
