Decided not to watch the game tonight on the grounds it'll be too painful and I'd get too stressed so I've decided to go to Ikea with the missus instead. Thinking about it now I might be better off watching the game.

Might pop into the bookies later and get a Gooners to score an offside goal, Gooners to score an undeserved penalty and Wigan to get two red cards treble...about 3/1 I reckon.

They have had a terrible season with injuries but all bar 3 are now fit. I would say there are 2 poor teams in be league and the rest bar the top 7 are much of a muchness

They always start slowly and come on strong at the end of the season

The trouble is, that is just good sense and totally ignores football 100/1 chances - like how Wigan come to be FA Cup winners. Apply your logic (which is not unreasonable - it's highly likely) and we are not getting CL for certain. We kissed that goodbye when we failed to beat Chelsea. Now that's just no fun at all...

It's betting against Wigan, nothing to do with us... we have zero influence on this game and considering everything how can anyone be anything more than hopeful?!!

Like I said, we needed to keep things in our hands, then I would too have been confident, we failed to do that and thus right now one has to expect that Arsenal have the advantage and are at this stage likely to limp over the line with the prize.

I'm not betting...because even winning a few extra quid isn't going to compensate for the disappointment. I would have to put on a massive bet to feel a little compensated, then Wigan would draw and I couldn't enjoy it as much because I would of lost a massive wedge.
