If Jesus gets injured they're back to relying on Nketiah for goals aren't they?
Yep, they have a number of attacking mids but none appear to be players who can also play up front. I maintain optimistic that their squad won't be strong enough to perform over the whole season.

Yep. Definitely not strong enough as it is with the pile up of fixtures. It'll be interesting to see if they bring anyone else in before the transfer window shuts.

Interpreting some of the posts in here as Gunner worship is a bit over the top. Many of them read like a sober assessment of Arsenal: they have had a bright start, look good, and no one knows but many suspect that it will not hold up under greater pressure or against tougher opponents. The addition of Jesus has brought their game up a notch by making the players around him better. He gives them a little more time and space because he is so difficult to defend. It's a question mark whether the mentality has improved enough to withstand the rigors of this year in particular as well as any of the misfortunes that are guaranteed to come along the way. And their defense, may be improved, but improved enough is a different question. It's a funny old game and this year more so than others.

Exactly. There's a chance he's one of those players that shines in a 3-0 whooping of the basement boys but struggles against tough defenders
They have returned into a latter day Wenger side that will steam roller rubbish teams but ultimately aren't good enough to be where they want.

Chief twerker @JCRD was comparing them to the Leicester title winning side earlier.

haha mate ive been taking lessons from VVD

I didnt compare them with Leicester, I was explaining that momentum can make up for weaknesses. Leicester had weaknesses and so do Arsenal and so do we...
