Then you're just biased. If you can't see that they currently have the best attack and best defence with the best GD and so if they win the league they absolutely do begrudgingly deserve it.

I get we're meant to hate them and it's funny when they fail blah blah blah, but it won't kill you to admit they've been decent throughout the course of this season will it?

It's hard to have an adult discussion about them with some of you on here. Credit where it's due. They've done better than last season which I didn't expect.

Agree this is not the best place for that discussion. I'm sure the Arse forums would love you though!

Madness, to think some of our lot would rather beat City and allow them lot to win the league.

we lose 10+ games every year, i can live with losing another, them lot winning the league would be a disaster.

i half think a lot of people don't know/live around the nomads.

I’m even pettier than that. I don’t want to just lose a game of football. I want them to know, with no room left for doubt, that we 100% threw that game. Vicario just booting the ball in his net from a goal kick when it’s 0-0 would be ideal.

Personally hope we win everyone of our games except the City one - where I want Ange to squeeze into a kit come running on and announce he playing in goal for the entirety of the match.

We just win each game and should not give a shit about the rest.
This.

Hope anyone (seriously) suggesting we should throw games so Arsenal don't win the league aren't the same ones daily criticising Chelsea and City for cheating.

No one said anything about cheating?

I would just like to see Vicario at left-back for that particular game... :D

I'd be livid if we beat City to give Arsenal the title, that is almost unforgivable for me.
Well there’s one thing we can do to stop it. Let’s treat Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool equally. Let’s beat all three of them and that way no one can accuse us of being unprofessional and lying down for anyone 😏

I'd categorically expect us to put in a half arsed performance if us beating City meant Arsenal win the league.

If our players didn't i'd be sending them some very stern emails. :cautious:

We've put in half arsed performances all season for a lot less.

I remember when we were in the CL final and they were in the EL final, DT said he'd gladly see his team not win theirs if it meant we wouldn't win ours.

The moral of the story is - don't be like DT.

If I knew they were throwing games I'd genuinely walk away from the club completely and not come back until all the people involved had fucked off. All sport is pointless to me without integrity. I despise diving, and I hate feigning injury to a point I've turned Spurs games off when I've seen us do it. Match fixing though would be taking it to a whole new level and I can't personally see how anyone who is a true sports fan could condone it regardless of the circumstances.

There’s a lot of silly comments in this thread, comments that are largely made in jest. I think it goes without saying that most of us just want us to cheat well enough as to not raise the suspicions of the relevant authorities but not so well that Arsenal fans don’t realise we’ve thrown the game.

From a moral standpoint that makes sense, but there isn't a lot of integrity left in sports anymore regardless.

i remember when i was young (my old man is Utd) and we played them last game of the season and if we won Arsenal would have won the league.

Spurs were pony as always that season and we went 1-0 up against Utd i was gutted, United eventually went on to win the game and win the title, i was delighted.

It is a part of my make up to despise Arsenal almost as much as i love Spurs.

Years of going to school with nomads in North London in the 90s/2000s whilst they won everything and we barely survived will do that to you.
