Mustafi and xhaka are fucking shit. They need a quality CB and a quality DM. Thank fuck they wont as if they did they would have a great chance for the league
I remember there were educated German football watchers on here creaming themselves over Xhaka, and devastated when he went there. You never know how a player will adapt to the PL.

Its clear Wenger & Co have definitely taken their eyes off the ball the last 3 years or so.
Sanchez, Frog Eyes and the Ox are all in their final year, Cazorla has been out for a year or so, and others like Giroud and Koschelny are on the downward trail, whilst Jack Wheelchair looks ready for the dustbin!. Meanwhile the Younger players (both bought in and academy products) have just not lived up to expectations.
Stepping back and looking at it objectively I reckon Woolwich could soon be in the same situation as Man Utd were a few seasons ago when Ferguson left, and end up having to spend £300m+ to totally rebuild their squad.
Do they give Wenger the money now, or wait two years until the new man comes in............................

I really don't understand arsenals thinking. They are potentially throwing well over £100m down the drain if they let those players run down their contracts this year. Seems like utter madness. Just sell and replace. No way Levy will ever let one of our stars do that again after Judas.

Wenger's going for a Hail Mary this year, hoping he can win the league and the knock on effect will persuade them to re-sign.

Xhaka is a red card waiting to happen in every game.

The comedy factor with the goons is epic, and long may it continue. And the juiciest part of it is that everyone not associated with Arsenal can see all the remedies to their problems, and yet most importantly (from their pov), not one individual associated with Arsenal can.

The fans, the manager, ex goon pundits all believe the answer is to spend man city levels of cash and the return to the glory days will follow.

What they don't see......

Wenger doesnt or can't coach. Promising and well established players have all, ALL, got worse, or at best, not improved.

No one within the club is allowed to question wengers philosophy. It's well documented from ex players that he doesn't tolerate at atmosphere of confrontation in the dressing room.

The club is the bastion of apathy, from the board, to the manager, and ultimately this filters down to the players. It's all so comfortable.

Long may it continue.

Bad result for Arsenal but on another day they could have had 3 or 4 goals today. It will be interesting to see how they get on when their defenders come back and the Sanchez situation. Either way, I'm glad we're in a much stronger state than they are

If you are in close proximity to an Arsenal fan, just drop into conversation that we have just broken our club transfer record right in the middle of developing our brand new sradium (which you hasten to add cost more than TWICE what Arsenal paid for their new stadium.)

I would suggest that you do have an exit strategy before throwing this little beauty in, because although the reaction will always be hilarious, it could also be incredibally volatile.:sneaky:

Interesting strategy. I want to send the first instance of those last two times we broke our transfer record to the memory hole and then scrub my brain with bleach just to be sure I've forgotten about it.

I love this fella, but do AFTV actually search for the biggest stereotypes? Will.I.Am, Nigerian chap, Blood fam, black cab, and the pirate all seem to be parodies of themselves.......or are all Arsenal fans like this?

If Arsenal were having a mare and in 15th position, I wonder if they would sack Wenger or soldier on until the end of the season?

They probably would sack the guy as the protests would get too much, but it'd be hilarious if they didn't :)
