Robbie from arsenal tv actually seems like a decent fella that you’d be able to have a good chat with about football. The younger guy who’s got temper issues is a major dickhead though, still I enjoy his weekly meltdowns. Long may they continue ?

I was thinking that. Robbie seems more balanced and definitely a lot calmer than the others. particularly the moron who smashed his phone. Voldermort also flips in an instant and turns so angry so quickly.

watching their reactions is quickly becoming one of my favourite parts of the week, so i hope they stick with Arteta and drop like a stone into the Championship. ?

Obviously Spurs first and don’t fixate on Arsenal yadiyadiyada...

But this is funnier than a skater being thrown off balance by a rogue broken branch and catapulting into a duck pond.

N.b. In this analogy the only harm that befalls the skater is to his or her self esteem, the branch is Arteta, the skater is Arsenal and the pond is the Championship. Oh, and the ducks find the whole thing quite hysterical.

Maybe arsenal should try and recoup some obey and bring out a board game but changed to a arsenal theme, I would suggest this one

Someone asked about Leeds, their downfall was quite meteoric as I recall. They had assembled a great team, had been challenging for titles, got to the semi’s of the champions league, played great football etc. But they had spent far more than they could sustain, and had to start selling their best players to balance the books. That’s how we got the likes of Robbie Keane and Paul Robinson so cheaply. The likes of Kewell and Viduka (and Bowyer) went to Liverpool and Newcastle respectively.

Arsenal are unfortunately in a much healthier position than that Leeds team that went down. The problem that they could have is if they keep Arteta and he keeps playing this turgid “all foreplay and no fuck” football.

If they see the threat of relegation between now and the 31st of January, then they have the opportunity and the finances to pull the trigger and get a proper manager in and let him buy a couple of players.

If Arteta stays, and they don’t address the issues between the various factions in the squad, or start putting goals away then they could get sucked in. No one is “too good” to go down if they are a badly run club. And when a big club gets relegated, like Newcastle, Leeds, Blackburn, Forest etc. It’s because they were badly run from top to bottom.

What's happening at Arsenal is further proof of how lucky we are to have Daniel Levy running the club. He's not handing out silly contracts to mercenaries and he's keeping everyone happy on more realistic salaries. Plus he genuinely cares about the development of the club and team

It amazes me that he's continued playing the same 3-4-3 system with Tierney as part of the back 3. He's either extremely stubborn or extremely dumb. Whatever it is I'm happy, even when they were no longer winning league titles under Wenger they were still playing the best football in the league. That is all gone now and I'm so glad about it. They used to dominate teams and get in behind opponents at will, now they just have no clue what they are doing.

Seriously long may it continue, all that's required is us to start winning trophies for the 90s,00s karma to be complete.

I don't go on FB much these days but I popped on their last night, an old pal of mine had put this post up earlier in the week to annoy his Gooner friends - he has plenty as he lives in Newington Green - It got them going of course.

Lovely too see. One of them decided to reply with the old "But at least we have never been relegated" story, giving it large.
.
I dropped this little hand grenade into their cosy chat ..
.
When was the last time Arsenal were relegated?
Arsenal have never been relegated from the Premier League (since the 1992-93 beginnings) but they have been relegated from England's top division.
However, the last time it happened was at the start of the 20th century, during the 1912-13 season, when, as Woolwich Arsenal, they finished bottom of the old First Division.
That season they won just three league matches, losing 23 and finished the campaign with just 18 points. They were 10 points adrift of safety, with Chelsea avoiding relegation with a total of 28 points.
.
Got some great responses.

I mentioned this before but watching Arsenal reminds me of when I use to do 2 player Football Manager and purposely fuck up the other team and then quit :D

Thing is the “younger guy” DT is a 41 year old man who dresses like a club mascot and pretends to lose his shit every week to get views and clicks, and uses a shit beard and massive caps to cover up the fact that he looks like a conehead.

Probably bullshit but I hope it's true

I'm genuinely struggling to think of a top manager who would go there. They seem to think Poch would but I'd be astounded if he even considered it. They really are sinking fast now and the job looks like a proper poisoned chalice. I think they'll stick with Arteta, hopefully until it's too late. The only one I can think of is Eddie Howe, but he just took Bournemoth down to the Championship - he does however play some decent football, but I don't see him turning that dressing room round. Delicious.

It’s funny how he dishes out his shit all day and when one person comments on him he throws a strop like a child. He needs to give it a rest.
