They are irrefutably shit now.

We need to win a pot or two or this era of superiority will count for nothing. Finishing above them is a given.

So Arteta brings Partey back before he's fit, leading to his injury. And then slaggs him off in the national press for being in pain and hobbling off the pitch for treatment.

Not exactly a man-management master class, is it?

Exactly, it was his fault for rushing the guy back from injury, Partey risked his fitness to play for him, and he repays him by blaming him in the press.

There‘s an argument to say he should have just gone down on the pitch and waited for treatment, but he probably wanted their attack to play out. It’s the other ten players responsibility to make sure they cover for him while he’s off the field.

Can you imagine them going down? OMG, it would be so good. I’ll take them just being in a dog fight all season, that would amuse me greatly but AFTV would be too good if they went down.

Ironically enough them going down would send AFTV's views through the roof. Robbie can lie about it all he wants but the worse they do, the more money he makes.

This is true re the general way he makes money but you’ve got to think that perhaps being relegated to the championship might just make them irrelevant and thus will effect his wallet.

I mean, I’ll still be tuning in if they lose to Sheffield Wednesday in the championship but I’m not sure what their viewing numbers will be like in general in that scenario.

He wouldn’t do that because tactically he isn’t a good coach. He’s terrible, said it since the first few weeks of seeing his teams play. No idea how anyone can think otherwise unless they’ve been brainwashed by Gary Neville and the rest of arteta‘s fan club.
Yeah I felt the same at the time and noted all the reasons why hiring a rookie was a massive risk.

But what I'd be extremely alarmed by if I was them is what Arteta said after the game and After the Wolves game.

The fact that he's putting credibility into a strategy that's not working by praising the players for following it through is incredible and last week he said that "it's maths" and that they will start to score from crosses. That's unbelievably naive and stupid.

Winning is all that matters and if you're strategy is culminating in zero goals scored and conceding on the counter, you need to look at your strategy.

And regarding the "pure maths" bollocks, simply slinging the ball in the box was proven a long time ago to be a poor strategy as most crosses are unsuccessful anyway....especially when your attacking players aren't built to play in that way.

Arteta is definitely one of those coaches who gets an idea in his head and then is completely blind to its shortcomings despite it being blindingly obvious. When this is pointed out, he just doubles down and states it'll work cause of 'maths'

What maths are you referring to? What if a defensive team prevents you from even crossing.

Spurs win the league and Arsenal get relegated. I can imagine them going to pieces in a dogfight, especially with their fans back to help boo them lol.

I'll be honest, I'm a bit disappointed by the lack of fury and anger from Woolwich fans after yesterday.

I think many of them are now starting to actually accept it...which in itself is quite delicious.

There fans led campaigns against Wenger who always had them top 4. They led campaigns against Emery who had them just a little lower. Now they are 15th after 11 games on 13 points. It will take a miracle to pull that side out. Arteta is far too inexperienced to do it and still a large section of their fans laugh off arteta out. Unless Arterta gets lucky and strikes gold out of nowhere, they are in for a loooooong year.

Robbie can lie about it all he wants but the worse they do, the more money he makes.

No one tunes into watch them when they’ve won. A few Arsenal fans, maybe, but the majority of his views come from opposition fans tuning in to watch the meltdown. That’s why he surrounds himself with mentally unstable cartoon characters, that’s why he sits there behind them quietly and snidely saying things like “we are going to be 15th.”

The more extreme the reaction from DT, the more shares, the more deluded the take is from Ty, the more shares. The more depressed and enraged Claude used to get the more shares etc.

The guy has essentially found a way to monetise their decline. His heart might want things to work out for Arteta, but his head and his wallet will want more bad results.
