"They were the better team and won the game. I think I've proven my point here."

Er yeah.

The “it crosses the line look” debate is literally this.

Twitter is in meltdown, Arsenal fans crying about the goal, other fans showing the Bein mock up only for Goons to say what about the foul & the offside

Got to love the blinkered views of football fans

"For many reasons it's not a goal," he said.

On the fact there were three checks, he said: "That makes it worse - you need to see one image to say 'OK, finished'. Then if in doubt you check the second one and then they're saying this is a goal. OK then."

When asked which decision he thought was wrong, he said: "This is really the question. It's not a goal - it's simple. For a goal to be allowed there are certain things prior to that that are not allowed in football - here and in China, in Japan, in Italy, in Portugal, and Spain. That's what happens."

…is he saying all three were wrong? But he’s also annoyed they checked them at all? The goal was originally given, he should want them to check them all! I don’t wanna be too specific cos it might be a language thing, but really, what does he want?

I mean, I know what he wants, but it’s incredibly annoying that we have to entertain this circus of “ooh VAR against us” again because a manager underachieved and needs a scapegoat.

Exactly, they're checking in order to rule the goal out, not to give it...

Arteta has always been fairly unlikable, but I think now he's finally lost the plot.

The goal should have been ruled out for the shove on Gabriel, fine.

HIs team also should have been down to 10 for Havertz' dangerous play, just like Nketiah against us.

He can cry conspiracy all he wants, but his team didn't create enough chances to score goals.

Had they won 2-1 would he have been raging us much then?

No. He fails to keep a level head and take proportionate accountability, which filters down to his team.

I think he's a good coach, but a terrible manager.

He's thrown his toys out of the pram too many times now, and it all has the feeling of a late stage Mourinho, Keegan or Benitez tenure.

Absolutely loving how every other fanbase hates Arsenal and Arteta and are ripping them out of it over the result.
