I call bullshit. That or massive change of heart from puma, who wanted to concentrate on smaller clubs. Theory was the Man U have to play against a team, so value for money wise it's worth being on the other shirts, not the biggies.

Depends on how in the know John Cross is.

I do know Adidas told Arsenal to fuck off and the gooners were upset because Man Utd and Citeh were being offered far more money than them

Could imagine Adidas' reply to the scum.

Adidas: Win a trophy, then we'll talk

I don't care all that much what our kits looked like if they doubled, tripled our quadrupled our income from sponsorship. They are rarely absolutely awful, their name is on the line as well.

True, up until last year I was ITK on puma, even discribed our kit with the stripe before anyone else. The person who worked there had told me they were going for smaller teams, could well have changed.

I hope they get crappy kits that fall apart too.

5 yr deal which could net us upto £50m in that time (I assume cup bonuses come into play). So a max of £10m a yr. O course, who knows how much money the club can squeeze out of the somewhat increased exposure in the NA market as a consequnce of the deal. I doubt it'll be £24m a season though.

We're getting gaped.
